At the NAMI Walk
Your chapter has a booth at the annual awareness walk. You've got brochures, wristbands, resource cards — the usual setup. But this year, you also have a bowl of custom textured stickers with your chapter name and the crisis hotline number. People walk by, pick one up, and stop. They press the dots. They ask what it is. In 30 seconds, you're having a real conversation about mental health — not just handing out paper. By noon, the stickers are gone. You still have 200 brochures. A volunteer texts you later: 'Someone came back to our booth just to get another sticker for their daughter. That's never happened before.'
